The deep reddish brown wood this walking cane is made of is naturally perfect. Padauk wood is a gorgeous wood that has a natural reddish color. A six inch section of the shaft has been spiral cut to look like the wood is twisted like a rope. The entire shaft is sanded and varnished to really make the rope effect stand out. The wood grain is subtle but can be seen throughout the shaft and derby handle. This cane would be a gorgeous additional to any walking cane collection or anyone that wants a unique cane for their daily use.
