The beautifully polished ebony wood for this cane holder compliments many wooden canes dark in color. The walking cane should be placed inside the clasp below the cane's collar. The tip of the ebony cane holder is curved outwards giving the cane a very strong grip. If not properly pushed in on the surface it's placed on, it could tilt the cane. Canes with larger diameter of base at the bottom can also be held by the ebony cane holder by the side. The cane is placed through the holder such that the shaft faces the back end of the holder, putting its weight on the table surface.
